HOW TO TIE ARBORIST HITCHES

Hitches are widely used in climbing and rigging in arboriculture to provide friction and hold a load whilst allowing progression up or along a rope. The are a variety of hitches and each has specific functions or properties to suit a range of applications. In this video series we show some of the ways each hitch can be tied and explain some of the uses and advantages or limitations of each hitch.
